Day 1 - Las Vegas - October 24th, 2025

Day 2 - San Francisco - January 23rd, 2026

Day 3 - Park City Utah - June, 2026

San Francisco - January 23rd, 2026

Leadership SF is proud to host the next installment of the Alumni Travel Series right here in San Francisco. Our goal is to showcase the very best of our city, including its breathtaking scenic views, world-class arts and culture, globally renowned cuisine, and the vibrant start-up and innovation ecosystem that continues to shape the future.

Tentative Agenda

8:00am: Meet Outside Galleria Park Hotel

Our day in San Francisco kicks off with Irish coffees, invented right here in the city, paired with breakfast from Devil’s Teeth, a shining example of our “Vacant to Vibrant” program, which has helped bring small businesses downtown after the pandemic and sparked the neighborhood’s revitalization.

9:00am - Tour of Federal Reserve (12th District)

In this behind-the-scenes look inside the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, home of the nation’s 12th District, you’ll step into the inner workings of America’s monetary system, discover how the Fed sets interest rates that shape the economy, and witness firsthand how billions of dollars are sorted, secured, and screened for counterfeits.

10:45am - Tour of Innovation Hub

Our next stop will take us to the Dogpatch, one of San Francisco’s most dynamic hubs of innovation. This industrial neighborhood is home to a thriving ecosystem of incubators and startups, and here we’ll get an up-close look at some of the cutting-edge sustainability innovations emerging from San Francisco.

12:30pm - Lunch in China Town + Fortune Cookie Factory

We’ll break for lunch in Chinatown—one of the largest and oldest Chinatowns outside of Asia, where we’ll enjoy an authentic Chinese meal. Afterward, we’ll stop by the iconic Fortune Cookie Factory, the birthplace of the original fortune cookie, invented right here in San Francisco.

2:00pm - Scenic History Tour

San Francisco is one of the most picturesque cities in the world, and we’ll spend an hour with a historian on board as we take in some of its most iconic views, from the Painted Ladies to the Golden Gate Bridge.

3:00pm - Fort Pt Museum + Group Picture with the Golden Gate

From its vantage point overlooking the spectacular Golden Gate, Fort Point defended the San Francisco Bay following California's Gold Rush through World War II. Its beautifully arched casemates display the art of 3rd system brick masonry and interacts gracefully with the Golden Gate Bridge.

4:15pm - Tour of Castro Theater

We’ll enjoy a private tour of the Castro Theatre, one of San Francisco’s most historic landmarks, located in the heart of the city’s famous LGBTQ+ neighborhood. Closed for the past two years for renovations, the theatre is set to reopen in February, and we’ll get an exclusive early look at its beautifully refreshed interior.

5:30pm - Dinner in North Beach
We’ll conclude our adventure in North Beach, San Francisco’s Little Italy and one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, with an early dinner and the chance to soak in the atmosphere that inspired the legendary Beat poets who made this area famous.
