Job Title:                       Programs Coordinator (Part-Time)
Organization:             Leadership San Francisco
Location:                      San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, 235 Montgomery Street, 7th Floor
Schedule:                    20–30 hours per week, flexible hours/days (in-office required)
Compensation:         $30–$40 per hour, based on experience (no health benefits)
Reports To:                  Executive Director, Mike Zwiefelhofer



JOB DESCRIPTION: LSF PROGRAM LEAD

   

Position Overview

The Program Lead will play a key role in supporting Leadership San Francisco’s newest initiative, Intro San Francisco, and in building our Alumni Association. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys event planning, program coordination, and relationship-building, and who thrives in a collaborative, community-focused environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Program Support – Intro San Francisco (3 cohorts annually):

  • Assist with program planning, logistics, and execution
  • Coordinate communication with participants, speakers, and community partners
  • Manage scheduling, venue coordination, and materials preparation
  • Provide on-site support during program sessions

 

Alumni Association (launching 2026):

  • Help design and implement the Alumni Association strategy
  • Plan, organize, and execute 6–8 alumni events annually
  • Coordinate outreach, communications, and engagement with LSF alumni
  • Track participation and gather feedback to strengthen future programming

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director on program and alumni initiatives
  • Support event marketing, including emails, invitations, and promotional materials
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to programs and alumni engagement
  • Will utilize Microsoft Suite, Slack, and NeonOne

 

Qualifications

  • Must possess excellent customer service and organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Event planning or program coordination experience required
  • Must have a strong ability to multitask with experience managing multiple priorities
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a small team
  • Familiarity with San Francisco’s civic, business, or nonprofit community a plus

 

Additional Information

  • This is a part-time position (20–30 hours per week) with flexible scheduling, though office presence is required.
  • The role offers hourly compensation of $30–$40, depending on experience.
  • No health benefits are provided.
